Industrial washable

The industrial cleaning process of clothing differs fundamentally from the domestic. In industrial laundries, clothing is not only washed on a larger scale, but special washing and drying machines and suitable detergents are also used. All this ensures that the industrial washing process has a different effect on both the garment and the fabric. Washing, maintaining and storing work clothes in the right way is important to guarantee the durability, but also the functionality of the workwaer.

INDUSTIRAL WASHING OF THE DASSY SAFETY COLLECTION

It is advisable to wash safety garments in a professional laundry.

FLAME RETARDANT CLOTHING

The PRO label indicates that the garment is tested for industrial washing in accordance with EN ISO 15797:2002. This international standard specifies the test procedure as well as the method of washing (75/85°C) and drying workwear in polyester-cotton in an industrial environment.

PRO = professional (=industrial) washing procedure
8 = washing procedure as described in EN ISO 15797

HIGH VISIBILITY AND MULTINORM CLOTHING

For high visibility and multinorm-high visibility clothing, it is also advisable not to wash the clothing more than the number of cycles indicated with the product in order not to compromise the reflective/waterproof properties of the garment.

Industrial washing of the DASSY safety collection

This international standard specifies the test procedure as well as the method of washing and drying workwear made of cotton, polyestercotton and cotton-polyester in an industrial environment. It serves as a basis for testing relevant characteristics, such as dimensional stability and colour fastness. A selection is made of the washing and drying procedures that are best suited to the characteristics of the fabric or fabric composition and the intended use.
