In the first place, a safety shoe needs to be sturdy. The DASSY® Nox meets all safety requirements of an S3 safety shoe and more: it is water-repellent, metal-free, antistatic and has an oil and petrol resistant sole with laddergrip in it. The zero perforation midsole and the safety toecap protect your foot sole against the penetration of sharp objects and your toes against the impact of heavy objects.
This lowcut safety shoe also meets the ESD standard. ESD safety shoes are specifically designed to continuously send the electrostatic charges to the ground in a safe and controlled manner. This is important in areas where there is a high risk of explosion (ATEX zones). (Note that ESD safety shoes are not suitable for activities on electrical installations!)
