Safety shoes

Professionals know the importance of good footwear all too well. After all, your feet have to endure much on a daily basis. Being on your feet for many hours, staying in uncomfortable positions and working on rough surfaces, make a sturdy and flexible pair of working shoes indispensable. That’s why DASSY safety shoes are not only light, supple and comfortable to wear, but also provide your feet with the required protection so as to be able to work safely on any type of floor.

Choose a class S1P or S3 safety shoe and rely on superior protection at every step:

  • Anti-perforation sole, composite or steel toecap and shock absorbing heels.
  • Breathable upper leather prevents moisture accumulation or heating of your feet.
  • Water-repellent upper leather S3 keeps your feet dry at all times.
  • A flexible sole supports your foot in any position and with any movement.

*ESD: ESD shoes have a very low electrical resistance (between 0.1 and 100 (MΩ)), measured in accordance with BS EN 61340-4-3: 2002 (IEC 61340-4-3: 2001) ESD safety shoes are designed to continuously conduct the electrostatic charge to the ground to avoid powerful, uncontrolled charges. This is important in zones where there is a risk of explosion (ATEX zones). ESD shoes are not suitable for work on electrical installations.

All shoes mentioned above meet the following standards*:

SRC: Slip resistance tested on ceramic tile floor with detergent and water, and on steel floor with glycerol.

DGUV 112-191: Certified for orthopaedic adaptation: even after changes made by orthopaedic shoemaker, the designs still fulfils the requirements of the standards EN ISO 20345 (safety shoes) and EN ISO 20347 (professional shoes).

*The safety shoes DASSY® Jupiter and DASSY® Thanos fulfil the SRC standard but do not have the DGUV certificate.
